7 the construction of buildings. The Hospitality Industry Act also sets out technical and other sets of conditions for the provision of hospitality services 15 . The already mentioned draft of a new law regulating hospitality industry also reforms the rules of short-term apartment lease to tourists. Performing such economic activity will require the consent of the relevant municipal authorities which will also be authorised to lay down in municipal ordinances the spatial and time frame for short-term apartment rental. A landlord who leases their own or rented apartment in an apartment building for up to 90 days a year and containing up to five beds will have to obtain a 75% consent of the apartment building owners to perform this economic activity. A landlord who leases the apartment for more than 90 days or offers more than five beds will need to obtain 100% consent of the apartment owners. Advertising of short-term apartment rentals will need to contain a publicly visible identification number of the accommodation establishment from the register of accommodation establishments. An online reservation system (such as Airbnb) will also be required to display this number for any offer or advertisement of the short-term accommodation. 4. Tourism Contracts 4.1. Package Travel Contracts and Linked Travel Arrangements Consumer Protection Act 16 of 1998, as amended in 2018, implements most requirements of the Package Travel Directive 17 in the Slovenian law. Due to the method of maximum harmonisation, the national provisions closely follow those of the directive.
